california, how we've missed you.

It had been a while since we had been back to California. Since Christmas! We missed the cool ocean breeze, Grandma and Grandpa's house, our favorite restaurants, our favorite stores, family, friends, the beach!, I could go on and on. Needless to say, it was good to be back. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking time out of your busy schedules to hang out with us! Finn and I got there a few days before Michael and we were there for almost 2 weeks! And remember that cool ocean breeze we had missed? Well, we had that for probably 2 days because Southern California was experiencing unusually humid weather. The constant sweat in Finnegan's blonde locks was proof! It was pretty hot and sticky! Mike and I were able to get away for a couple days to Beverly Hills, thanks to my parents. It was so nice to be able to actually lay out by the pool without having to chase a crazy baby around! {he had NO fear of the water. until he fell in a wave, then he was a little more cautious. but to see the pure joy and excitement on his face as he saw the waves was so great!}
