mama bear turns 30!

Well, Mike sure spoiled me for my 30th birthday!  We were able to have the Hondos come and watch the kids while we escaped to Midway for a little weekend getaway.  We started with snowshoeing at Sundance!  It was our first time really using our snowshoes, kid-less, and on an actual snowshoe trail.  We both loved it.  The weather was perfect, the snow outside the trail was untouched, and we were able to exercise and enjoy each other's company, something we both love.

We met up with Pete and Megan for the most amazing dinner at Tree Room.  My mouth water just thinking about that pepper crusted, mango chutney, filet. yummmmmmm.  It melts in your mouth.  

We stayed in the night up in Midway at the Zermatt Resort, which is like a little piece of Switzerland here in Utah!  We woke up, worked out in their gym that had a window covered wall which over looked the snow covered mountains, headed to breakfast, and then relaxed in the hot tub.  We stopped back by Sundance on our way home and did a little shopping!  Then of course we couldn't wait to get home to our babies (and a nothing bundt cake!).
