5 months.
Happy 5 months little guy!!
//This just in: we have a rolley polley on our hands! Gone are the days of stationary Finn! He forgets he can roll both ways though, so he usually ends up right against the couch and gets frustrated because he can't roll anymore. After he's done a few rolls he will look for me and give me this very proud smile.
//Rolling around= spit up.
//Rolling around= vacuuming.
//Since he can roll now I can see that scooting is not too far off. If there is a toy in front of him he will stare at it with a determined look and move his legs so fast to try and move forward. Not yet bud, but it will happen soon.
//Finnegan is so, SO brave. More brave than his mama.
//We LOVE his pediatrician, Dr. Bean.
//Just call him Mr. Social. Finn smiles at everyone. And if they aren't looking at him he will stare at them until they do... and then he'll smile. We are working on social etiquette because sometimes he will just stare and stare.
//If there are kids around Finn will stare and smile and sometimes laugh or talk and move his legs really fast. I know he wants to be able to play with them.
//Add Maui to his list of travels. He went in the ocean and the pool and loved it. He went to the aquarium and saw fish and sharks and was so amazed.
//The other day I went in to get Finn from his nap and he was on his tummy facing the front of the crib grabbing onto the panels... like he was in jail!
//Getting Finn out of bed is the best! He flashes the biggest smiles! Like we have come to save him!
//He has the best laugh that sometimes turns into a yell/scream if he gets really excited!
//His hair is still blowing in the wind. That will never get old.
//This little chunk weighs 16 pounds!
//He is Papa's "main man".
We thank our Heavenly Father every night for the opportunity to be Finn's parents and for his health. In these 5 months he has brought such a special spirit into our home. Most nights Mike and I will lay in bed and talk about (or imitate) the funny things he does. We just love our little guy.
