july the fourth.

Such a grand holiday.  Michael and I had a vacation to Fountain Valley and spent the night at my parent's house Sunday night and enjoyed the 4th with my family.  We went for a run, relaxed around the house, relaxed by the pool with dane chane then Barbecued.  We headed back home only to find out that Ladera has the most AMAZING Fourth of July celebration.  Concerts in the park, carnival, tons and tons of kids and the most extravagant fireworks show I have ever seen.  Since it's such a small community everyone just rides their bikes or walks to the park.  We met up with some more of our favorite married couples and did just that- rode our bikes over to the fun. Family. Friends. Red. White. Blue.  Good. Day.
